Santa Cruz Regional 9-1-1 invites proposals from qualified law firms or individuals to provide General Legal Counsel services to the Authority. The selected proposer will serve as the Authority’s primary legal advisor, providing general counsel services and, as needed, coordinating with or overseeing special counsel retained for specialized matters. SCR9-1-1 currently retains separate legal counsel for advice on personnel and labor relations matters.
The General Counsel will report to and serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors, and work directly with the Authority’s General Manager and agency staff in performance of their daily duties in the operation of the Authority’s business.
